Acid Wash and Batik - Create Your Own Unique Textile Design Acid Wash and Batik - Create Your Own Unique Textile Design

Acid wash, batik, and 360-degree pattern printing

Turning textiles into one-of-a-kind pieces using special dyeing and bleaching techniques

Raw materials can be treated with specific colors and washes before printing or embroidery. In addition to a wide range of finishing options, we offer you the option of various methods to pre-treat the raw material. It’s possible to treat any product that consists largely of cotton. Whether it’s T-shirts, hoodies, bags, or pants, we’ll work with you to find the right style for further processing. We’re happy to advise you on bringing your design to life, and we’ll work with you to finalize all the details of a dye job or acid wash look and prepare the necessary data.

Batik Look

One way to dye textiles is the batik technique. Color patterns in various irregular shapes and colors—or even mottled patterns—can be dyed onto the garment. The garment retains its original fit and becomes a unique item that meets all the requirements to be further enhanced with your design. Optimal results are achieved on cotton textiles with as little polyester content as possible. T-shirts are particularly well-suited for this technique and are a classic choice that can be finished neatly using this method. It doesn’t matter at all which manufacturer the blank T-shirt comes from, because any T-shirt imaginable can be customized in this way.

Give your jeans and T-shirt a stone-wash or acid-wash look

The so-called “acid wash” is a special washing process that makes the fabric look faded and worn. It can be applied to denim fabric, such as acid-washed jeans. This acid-wash look makes the garment stand out from the crowd, and prints can also be optimally enhanced afterward. The process works similarly to stone wash, using special pumice stones and chlorine. The treatment acts on the fabric of the garments, giving them a “worn” look through a quick, technical process—and it’s very much in style. The wash also improves comfort against the skin, as the treated product becomes significantly softer.

Blob and Splatter Technique

In addition to acid wash and batik techniques, irregular splotches can also be applied to the fabric. This machine-based process involves dripping dye onto any fabric, which is then set to ensure it is wash-resistant. Dyes can be freely selected and mixed in this process.

Laser Technology

Laser technology can be used to create beautiful effects, especially on jeans and denim fabrics. In this process, the fabric is “burned,” causing it to lose its color in the treated areas. Unlike acid wash, where the fabric is washed, the laser only affects the surface.

360-Degree Prints Using Digital Printing Techniques

Another way to apply full-surface repeating patterns to a textile is digital printing. This is a direct printing process that’s ideal for printing patterns or gradients on textiles. Unlike acid wash, where color is removed from the fabric, this process adds color. Light-colored items are particularly well-suited for this technique. This technique can give your outfits a unique style and make them stand out from the crowd. There are no limits on the size of the print or the number of colors, and the design extends right across the seams. We often use this technique on T-shirts, where it really shines. Shopping Cart. This technique is also available for small quantities, starting at 50 pieces.
